The Historic Appeal of Kumbhalgarh

Once you have finished exploring the fort, head for some adventure to the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary where you can spot a large number of animals such as Nigai, Sloth Bear, Panther, Chinkara, Antelope, Sambar, Nilgai, and Leopards. The bird family out here is also very huge which includes Golden Oriole, Flamingos, Kingfisher, Peacocks, Cormorants, and many others. Take the jungle safari on the sturdy Gypsy which is the best way to go animal spotting. If you are fond of taking a walk or a horse ride, you can select these options as well. The ticket office is located near the drop-off point by buses for Jain temples.

At a short distance of just 50 km, you can pay a visit to the famous Ranakpur Jain temples. The fine carvings as well as sculptures symbolise the brilliant craftsmanship that existed in that period of time. In order to carry your camera along, you are required to pay certain amount of fee.
