Hi friends, I have some big news that I’d like to share with you. I wish I could buy you all drinks and sit and chat for a while. And actually, if you’re in the Pasadena area and want to know more, hit me up and we can head to a lounge somewhere.

Ok the news: On Aug 15 I will be leaving my job as Creative Director at the research institute I’ve been a part of, and focusing full-time on our startup that’s been steadily scaling up these past few months. I came to grad school to pursue being a pastor, but after 7 years of being a part of the Christian machine, it has become clear that my interests lie beyond what I am able to accomplish here. Like anything in this world, the Christian machine has its up sides, and its down sides, and I have learned a lot from both. I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had, people I’ve met, and the chance to study the spiritual side of life at high resolution. All of you have opened my eyes to a wider reality and deeper understanding of life.

Moving forward, I find myself wanting an even deeper existence — a richer one, something more adventurous. So I am off to rub shoulders with tech companies and gather a team to build the Tesla of education. Our current education system is boring, broken, and leaves us snoring in our seats. My goal is to change that, and to move us into a future where learning and becoming better as human beings is exhilarating. Rather than letting petty division run the world, our goal is to unite it, and together drive humanity’s evolution forward.

Thank you friends for all of your support and encouragement as I’ve been finding my way these past few years. This next step will be the culmination of that journey. I could not have gotten here without all of you, so a humble thank you for that, and a jet-engine decibel thank you too. Let’s kick some ass.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
