Well, overall all nations got blood on their hands, Japan, Russia, USA, Belgium, UK, France, Germany, China, any empire ever the Roman Empire must have slaughtered the most but we just don't know.

I propose something else to leave the grievances behind and to go the way Germany went on a global scale, pay reparations, and reflect but not live in the past and past grievances. The earth is rich enough to provide for all people. But not for everyone’s greed. Also, I won’t take the blame for what people did hundreds of years ago, and it’s not exactly that Africa was a blooming economy before the West was there. The slave business was not at all foreign to Africa.

But as I said, this is a useless approach that won’t get us anywhere. Also, if they want to levy themselves fine. Where is the money, oil food, and fuel technology, and so and so forth gonna come from?

We don’t need to levy anyone. Just normalize trade relationships on an equal footing. The world is more complicated than that. Pakistan Bangladesh both net importers of food and oil. Sub Saharan Africa and many other regions will starve and bancrupt then. Also, not every type of imperialism is equivalent. Russia is utterly different. China or the US are once again utterly different.
