Another Friday is upon which means new music!
Kehlani is back with another single from her forthcoming project ‘SweetSexySavage’ which is slated to release January 27th. Kehlani went to twitter to express her intentions with the album. She tweeted
‘’thanks for the love, wanted to have a fun ass album, I know I’m usually intensely serious (there are emotional records I swear)so THX!”
Right after the album drops Kehlani will begin her SweetSexySavage tour with fellow R&B artists Jahkoy and Elle Mai. 2017 is looking to be a comeback year for the artists who attempted in suicide in Spring in 2016.
This week LeToya Luckett dropped a visual for her single ‘Back 2 Life’. The is the first single from Luckett since she dropped ‘Don’t Make Me Wait’ in 2014. The songstress has been more focused on her acting endeavors appearing in Ballers and Drumline: A New Beat. She also will be portraying Dione Warrick in the upcoming biopic Dionne.
Luckett spoke with PEOPLE magazine about the release of her album ‘Until Then’. She stated
“I hope people can listen to the album and hear my heart,” she says. “For me, I get healing from music. I want people to experience that. It’s not about being liked, not about the approval. It’s about the experience and pouring my heart. I just want people to hear my heart and that’s it.”

The Internet’s Syd The Kid also dropped her first single ‘All About Me’ from her solo project ‘FIN’. Now there is no need to panic as The Internet is not breaking up. In fact they all plan on releasing solo projects in 2017.
This week the music gods were smiling upon us and listeners got a single from British crooner Sapmha. His single “(No One Knows Me) Like The Piano” is the first track from his debut album Process. The stripped down track just features keys and percussion, and allows listeners the opportunity toenjoy the sultry, pure voice of Sampha.
Now you may be wondering who Sampha is but chances are you’ve already heard him. His vocals have been included on some major projects including Grammy nominated albums The Life Of Pablo(Kanye West) and A Seat At The Table(Solange). If you still don’t know, listen to “Too Much” by Drake, yeah that guy.
