“If You Do Deeds Of Charity Openly, It is Well; But If You Bestow it Upon The Needy In Secretly, It Will be Even Better For You” (Al Quran 2:271)

I got a task of clothes banking assigned by Foster Learning Pakistan. I learned during this session that we should help people as much as we can.

And I think according to this verse, it was the best way to help needy people who feel shame to put their hands to others. Akhuwat is the best platform which helps needy people secretly.

My Experience in Collecting Cloth:

I was very excited when my trainer gave me the task to collect 50 pairs of clothes and submit them to the Akhuwat Foundation.

My basic purpose of joining Foster learning Pakistan was to learn more except studies. It was the best way to learn as well as to help others.

When I started to collect clothes, first I searched in my home. It was tough for me because, in the Ramadan, we donated all clothes. After some effort, I collected my favorite suits, paints, and also burkas. Then my family members agreed to donate their dresses after a lot of discussions. But I succeed in my mission.

Secondly, I messaged my all friends and relatives and tell them about my project and send permission letters of Akhuwat bank Pakistan. I was shocked when no one reply me. Even no one asked me about it. Then I called one by one and repeat the story. All of them said to me they donate their clothes in Ramadan.

It was a difficult time for me. Then I called my grandmother who lived in Sargodha and her about my project. In this pandemic situation, it was difficult for them to reach out to me at Gujrat. But I convinced them. They promised me to reach me out after 1 week. After this, they contribute 10 pairs of clothes for this project.

Then I had only 45 pairs of clothes, I required more. I contact to my best friend. she send me the remaining pairs of clothes.

Conclusion

My Grandmother said,” Give my prayers to all your mates and especially your trainees who are doing excellent work by giving you these kinds of tasks” as she always helps the needy and feels blessed that her niece is doing some good deeds in this pandemic situation.

So I just want to add that nothing is impossible only you have to make some effort as I was not sure that I could collect even 10 pairs but now I have more than 50.

Never be offensive at beggars as if you cannot help them just let them go with nice words.
