Growing up in New York, I can tell you last night’s performance was just that — a performance, and frankly, a weak one in my eyes. Just like his address to Congress earlier this year, it was total playacting.

To paraphrase Shakespeare, he is a poor player that struts and frets his way upon the stage and then with luck, heard no more. He is an idiot, signifying nothing.

I fully expect to see the real DJT tonight yet again. I’m guessing it’s a 90% certainty he’ll pardon that execrable dolt Arpaio. Kelly can only do so much to reign in Hair Donald.

But even if the Orange Menace somehow breaks with his own convention tonight, mark my words this is no real change.
