I am not sure of the legality of that either (previous post about Yelp tweeting about HR issues) — it may be legal as long as medical or ss numbers aren’t mentioned — but just in VERY poor taste on their part. That tweet sounded like a petualant child wrote it.
Also, I’m not sure what CA law is, but you may be able to get a copy of your employee records from Yelp.
