To double up the game, the HDR video content produces an exceptional detail, colour and contrast with a brighter range of colour than other video formats. Results? Well, be ready to get welcomed with the most lifelike picture that TV has ever seen with brilliant highlights and crisp detail.
Additional features like TRILUMINOS Display, 4K X-Reality PRO( enhances every picture up to 4K) and 4K Processor X1 further works at providing you with a brilliant picture quality with greater brightness and clarity for a life like image. However, we felt tad adjustment is needed in settings of the picture quality like brightness and redness if that perfect picture.
We also checked the video quality and were absolutely impressed by it as well. Thanks to Motionflow XR which keeps the action super smooth. We actually enjoyed smooth and sharp detail even in fast-moving sequences with Motionflow XR. This smart technology is responsible to creates and insert extra frames between the original ones after which it compares key visual factors on successive frames and then calculates the split second of missing action in the sequences. We know it sounds quite complicated, however, the results are stunning and it will keep you hooked to the TV.

We have already explained in the above section about the connectivity options that Sony Bravia KD-55X8500D. There are 4 HDMI ports and 3 USB ports which showed great results when we connected a pen drive to the TV. Apart from that, we were absolutely impressed by other connectivity option like easy mirroring where we transferred the content in our phone to the TV to check the performance. It worked wonderfully without any disturbance or lag in between the process. Thus, yet another ‘YAY’ to the connectivity property of this TV.
