Plywood is the most used wood for home interior, it is the sheets of wood pasted together to make a plywood. The plywood is further divided into two grade that is MR grade and BWR grade. IS 303 is the ISI or BIS specification for the plywood.
MR Grade: MR Grade refers to Moisture Resistance Ply it is basically a regular plywood used for home interiors. it is also known as commercial ply, this ply can be used everywhere except in the kitchen and the bathroom
BWR Grade: BWR Grade refers to Boiling Water Resistant Ply, this ply is also known as Marine ply and is been used mostly in the kitchen and Bathroom interior.
Block Board are made by stocking the cubical wood between two thin sheets of ply. These wood are commonly used in the construction sites as they have got the higher resistance against bending and wrapping. These wood are available in the standard thickness of 16mm, 19mm and 25mm.
Block board is further divided into MR Grade, BWR/BWP Grade. Block boards are mostly suggested to be used to make sliding shutter and not any other ply such as MDF, Particle Board etc. As the block board has got the maximum resistances against bending over all other ply board.
