Roger is a main character of the film “Angels in the Outfield”. He’s raised in a foster family. One day, after walking with his friend JP, his father visits him. He’s glad of father’s visiting. He asks his father when they will be a family again. But father’s answer upsets him. The father says that if the baseball team wins, then he’ll take him away from the foster family. At night, he turns to God to help the Angels baseball team win. At the next match, angels come to him, who help him fulfill his dreams. Quite by chance, Roger meets the coach of the Angels team and tells that he sees angels who help his team win. Of course, the coach was shocked by what he heard, but he believed the boy. And so, the “Angels” win, but Roger’s father doesn’t take him away from the foster family. He’s very disappointed that his father betrayed him. He stops believing in miracles. However, his foster mother tells him that his family will take him away soon. This family turns out to be the coach of the Angels team, George Knox.
