Nice read, I been in this boat of thought for quite some time.

Switching from any tech product after a few years will give you almost the same feeling. Its human comfort / resistance.

Ground breaking Innovation is usually done by companies who are trying to prove they exist. Apple has lot of cash now and they probably don’t care.

I find a lot of problems in Google products too, for example privacy. They are pretty shameless on using user data and that has helped them improve a lot of their existing apps.

For few weeks I have been using duckduckgo.com as my search engine to avoid Google tracking me. However, no other search engine is as good as google yet.

I think next switchable things is still not around. You may find people flipping back and forth between iPhone and Android.

May be, someone else needs to do it now. :)
