Why do I want to be a student at Holberton School of Software? Why do I want to be a software engineer?

My name is Soham Ashodiya, and I am a fourteen year old teenager who is a freshman in high school. I have many hobbies which include playing video games, meeting up with friends, playing tennis, and programming. When I was thirteen years old, my father asked me what I want to be in the future. At the time, I was not so sure. The next day, my dad asked me to choose a field from a wide list of occupations that he had found on a website. I scanned through all of the occupations and tried to imagine myself working in that field. Most occupations did not exactly interest me. When I saw the field “Computer Science”, I decided that I should dive into that topic. In a few days, I started to realize that computers are everywhere and there are only a few things that we can do without the help of some computer technology. From that day onward, my dad started to help me get on the path to being a successful software engineer. In the last three years, I have learned a wide variety of things in the field of computer science including: Java, Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and SQL. Last week, my dad read about the new computer science school that opened in San Francisco and told me that I can also learn a lot if I enroll into it. I want to join Holberton School of Software because I want to achieve proficiency in programming. As of right now, I am learning about Salesforce which is a platform that lets developers make any type of application without having a server or using any other application to compile or run their app.
