It’s true that very few writers do that but my intention was not attacking anyone but to just point out the limitation that the third person PoV poses.

Also, ‘marketer’ is absolutely okay (although, ‘writing about marketing’ and ‘marketer’ does not mean the same thing). The difference lies in ‘I am a marketer’ and ‘Eric is a marketer’.
