An interesting piece of the puzzle that’s never really talked about is why Hollywood doesn’t want to adapt. The obvious answer is money so the question is and perhaps this data is extremely hard to put together, but outside of “it’s the future,” is there a financial incentive for them to transition to this new model? If not, how much money is lost by them embracing this new model? Or is there a middle ground where short term loses can translate into long term gains by getting more people to pay?
