But this has equally been the promise of technology since inception and it has yet to actually every materialize. We only need to go back 40 years to the beginning of computers when they were supposed to make our lives easier. Remember, robots were going to do most of our work so we could have more leisure time. The reality is that we work way more than we did 30 or 40 years ago, despite the fact that we have tech that they couldn’t even dream of. Ironically in the end, all robots have done is ensure that there is far less work available for humans.
