The SOL Decoder Discord bots keep expanding and expanding.
Our newest addition — Engage 2 Earn
We aim to incentivize people to Engage with their NFT communities in three different ways. All of these will be available to any other Discord in the near future.
- Chat 2 Earn: Chat within Discord to gain Experience Points (XP) and level up
- Raid 2 Earn: Like and retweet a tweet to gain XP
- Daily / Weekly Quests: Complete quests in order to gain XP
Why does my NFT community want this?
- Slow Discord chat? This instantly fixes it, with SOL Decoder chat rising 2,400% in a single week upon implementation
- Twitter have low engagement (likes / retweets / no-one in Spaces)? Problem solved with this, with users rewarded for engaging with Twitter (including being in Spaces). With more eyes on your Tweets — much of your NFTs marketing is improved as well
- Want an innovative & automated way to whitelist engaged users? Once users engage enough with your Discord chat & Twitter — they can be automatically whitelisted
- Have the budget to give out NFTs / SOL to users? Weekly leaderboards are built in, with each users wallets tied to their account as well. Hand out rewards to your most engaged users in a fraction of the time
Experience Points (XP), what’s that?
As you gain XP within that Discord, you will automatically level up (gain a new role, and lose an old role). The number of roles you can gain, what the roles are called, and what their icons are, are all completely customizable within each Discord.
SOL Decoder uses these “Military” type rankings, with a user leveling from 1 (Private) all the way to 50 (General). It will become exponentially harder to level up as well.
SOL Decoder additionally has the levels shown in the role icons themselves, so you can instantly see who is more engaged / higher level. Below you can see a level 1, 2, and 13 chatting with each other.
Chat 2 Earn
Type a message, get 1 XP. Pretty simple here, with a few caveats (only works in specified channels, is a cooldown between messages to combat spam). In SOL Decoder’s first week of using this, we saw a 2,400% increase in the number of messages sent to our main chat channel.
Raid 2 Earn
Each Discord can link their Twitter account(s), and every time they make a new Tweet (not a reply to a Tweet, and not a retweet), users can like & retweet that to get a larger amount of XP (20 per action). No additional work on the Tweet author’s end — just Tweet and people will raid it on their own.
- Spaces rewards (coming soon) — We will also be able to track how long you attended one of the spaces, and reward you for each minute
- Target individual tweet rewards (coming soon) — We will also be able to target individual tweets and reward you for commenting in them. For example if an influencer tweets asking what they should buy, be rewarded for tweeting they should buy SOL Decoder
Daily Quests
Our quest dashboard will allow you to track your daily quest progress, and your level progress, across all of the Discords you are in that have enabled the engage 2 earn. You can also see the Leaderboards (and we show weekly leaderboards for each Discord, as well as a global leaderboard across all Discords).
Bonus XP
As you may know SOL Decoder was merged with Communi3, who’s main NFT are the “Mad Scientists”. Users that hold a Mad Scientist will get a very large XP bonus, across all Discords they are in. For example if a Mad Scientist holder types a chat message in The Stoned Frogs Discord, their XP in The Stoned Frogs will go up at a higher rate than others.
Additionally users that hold a SOL Decoder will also accrue a global bonus, but at a lower rate. Both of these will be stackable as well (for example a user with 2 Mad Scientists and 5 SOL Decoders will have bonuses for each they hold).
Lastly, Discords may enable weekend multipliers, to give all users Double XP. Just a little something to help the dead weekends :)
And now for the “2 Earn” part
Users may chat / raid tweets / do quests just to rank up and have a higher social status than their peers. Others may do it for monetary rewards as well. How the monetary rewards will work, is up to each Discord — we simply provide an automated way to see who the most engaged are. Here are some examples of how SOL Decoder will be implementing this:
- The top 10 users on the top of the weekly leaderboard will be entered into a giveaway to win a SOL Decoder NFT. We have enough NFTs in reserve to do this for months.
- The top X % of the weekly leaderboard will be automatically given SOL, and lastly $DCODE (which is SOL Decoder’s staking token, which is tradable for Communi3’s token $SCI in the future)
- One random user in the top 50% of the leaderboard will be given a larger amount of SOL
