How Much Is Too Much For A Haircut?
Megan Reynolds

For a very long time, the most I could stomach paying was about $35. But after years of meh hair, I finally asked the girl in my office who always has cute hair where she got it done, and went there. Including tip, it’s $95, which feels like a LOT, but is something I can afford if I budget for it (and only go three times a year, instead of four) — and the stylists are on salary there, with benefits, which I want to support. But both my stylists have raised their prices to $100/cut, meaning now, it would be $120-$125 with tip. I’m not sure I can do that. (I’m actually a month overdue for a haircut because I keep balking. It’s just SO MUCH. So I guess my threshold is three figures.)
