It’s been a serious shithole of a week here, Kate Stone Matheson . My youngest sister died suddenly from a horrible cancer exactly one week ago. I’m still coming to grips on more levels than there are numbers. I came to Medium as a safe place to tell ones’ stories. I can be hopelessly naive. I may tell her and our family’s story here, or I may not. I’m just not sure how much I care about how judgmental readers may be about dysfunctional family sagas.
