I agree with Colette Clarke Torres that you are a natural writer. Your description of Tim in the jeep was hilarious and so perfect that I laughed out loud.

Love and acceptance may have come to you later than for some (neither came to me until I met the man I married when I was 30), but clearly you value the fact that it did come to you and that it was via Tim Barrus.

You gave me an idea. All good writers are also great readers; did you know that? My dining room table is literally covered with piles of books that I was planning to donate to our public library. Would you and Tim Barrus like me to send them to all of you instead? They are of all sorts of genres — if you don’t know what that word means, ask Tim. If you can get his attention.
