Life is totally fair. Oh wait, no it isn’t.

My daughter graduated from high school with a young woman who had a baby during her senior year and graduated on time. When she didn’t have child care, her friends watched the baby. When she had a paper to write or a test to study for, her family and friends helped with the baby. She went to college the following year at the same university as many of those same friends, one that had on-campus child care. Your daughter may be walking a different path than intended, but there is no reason for college to be out of the question. And the boy? Lucky for her that he’s out of the picture now rather than later.
