My Experience In Bootcamp So Far

The Andela experience has been such that has pushed me to do things I never thought I could do up until now. I have been learning things, but I have never had to learn things at a very fast pace and immediately implement what I learnt.

I have had to endure a persistent headache since the second day of bootcamp and still continue working on my outputs. If there is one thing I can confidently say about myself now, it is that I am tougher than I look outwardly.

I have in the process learnt several web development terminologies and techniques. The latest being API which means Application programming Interface. It is an interface used by web applications to interact with servers and other web applications to access and send data between themselves.

Learning the techniques of creating API endpoints has been the most challenging and rewarding as I now know about Node.js(a platform that allows one build network applications using javascript), Express(a web application framework), Babel(a transpiler that helps converts the latest syntax of javascript to one that every browser understands) and then eslint(which guides one in writing code in a specified format).

I am on a journey to becoming a world class web developer and I hope to have at the end of this bootcamp educated anyone who has been reading my posts from Day 1.
