Fully agree with the points you’ve raised. Once the dust has settled a tad more, I believe many will echo the thoughts expressed in your article.
Unfortunately there is a significant minority of people, who want action NOW, who voted leave, not because they actually cared about our membership of the EU, but because it afforded them the opportunity to kick the state in the nuts, for beign ignored, passed over, and a myriad other ills, both real and imagined.
These are the very people we need to try and communicate with, to sooth, to include (where they can be,and when it is possible) in what ever deal is reached. I believe it to be fairly certain that another referendum will be required to “deal the deal” so to speak.
This some what excitable, some what bigoted, roughly educated minority can queer the pitch. They dragged the nation out, they will be pivotal in pulling the country into association status.
