It was the summer of 2012.
Jacob, my husband, had just become the CEO of PNO. The timing couldn’t have been worse.
I’d just given birth to our son, and so just as we were adjusting to beginning our own little family, Jacob stepped in as the leader of another.
Every day he would wake up at 4:30 am, travel one hour and fifteen minutes to the head office from our home in Copenhagen to the office in Sweden, spend a full day at the office, return home late in the evening and do it all again the next day.
