The performance complement creates all sorts of artificial limitations for services like Mixcloud, does it not? The fact that a listener can’t listen to a set again, or go replay part of it? Or the fact that a set can’t have more than 4 tracks by the same artist (or from a compilation album) or more than 3 tracks from the same album may be transmitted to the same listener within a 3 hour period.

A service like Mixcloud shouldn’t have to jump through all these hoops.

I applaud what you’re doing with Mixcloud, but it’s frustrating to see how the big labels have gone after SoundCloud and getting them to remove all their DJ mixes.
