I figure I lit about $18,000 on fire. Now all (re-)ripped and stored in boxes in the garage. 🙄

A few years ago I was updating my resume that I had last touched about 15 years prior. At least 3/4 of the items under “skills” were for long-defunct software and languages. Director? Strata Studio Pro? Tango?!

Experience builds, but it’s striking how much time and energy we put into skills and projects that will — one day — be completely worthless.
