Did you ever heard Nelly Furtado’s “The Spirit Indestructible” album? I doubt you did. And that’s sad, ‘cause, in the time the halo of Lady Gaga’s “Born this Way” continued to broke and destroy the pop music, Nelly created a whole new sound, heavily influenced by 00's jams, old 90's trip-hop and by some futuristic concepts.

I didn’t fall in love with “The Spirit Indestructible” at first sight. It has grew on me, step by step, piece by piece. It’s still bangers fuelled, but not the ladygagaish way. A classier, much more musical and even more enjoyable piece of art. Her best work since “Loose”, worth to listen to it.

Though none of the singles off the album charted well enough (or should I say they didn’t even chart), Nelly pushed five music videos, “Bucket list” being my fave.
