City Palace, Jaipur

What is it about doors and windows that fascinate many of us? Especially artists and photographers.
It is quite enigmatic, but I have always had this thing towards doors and windows.

“Doors are more than a pretty frame. They are stories.”

Big, small, royal, poor, colourful, antique, new, arched, it always seems that they beg to be opened.
To learn about what may be behind them, what stories they may tell.

There is always a message to contemplate: Do they welcome in the breeze and visitors? Or they have something unknown locked in?
Each door has it’s own story. I will let doors and windows do the further talking.
Here’s a collection of doors and windows from my trip to Rajasthan, India.
