Fellow Travelers: Bringing emerging markets and impact investing back together (Part I)
Andrew Haimes

Enjoyed reading. Climate change is a growing portion of our portfolio and reflects some of the trends you discuss. First, it lends itself to larger transactions that are more appealing to mainstream investors. Second, it’s been more domestic focused. This was initially surprising to me because previously our international pipeline had been more robust and our renewable energy strategy was focused on emerging markets. One nice thing, though, is that I don’t have to choose between “emerging markets and impact investing” since we work in the US as well!
