Here is my personal collection of good advice I’ve received over the years. I’ve received plenty but these are the few that I remember AND that I can vouch for from first-hand experience building Front.
You should never call dataframe.append() inside a loop. Each call to append() creates a new copy of the entire dataframe.
Build a dictionary and use from_dict() instead. There are a number of alternatives using lists and tuples as well.
