In the second half of our Orlando adventure, we tackled the colossal task of visiting all four Disney World parks in just two days. Before I dive into the whirlwind of fun, here’s a fascinating tidbit: according to my Apple Watch, we walked over 85,000 steps in those four days!

Day 3: Disney World @ Florida

Our third day started with us dropping our luggage at the Wyndham Orlando Resort. A quick tip for travelers: don’t hesitate to ask the hotel staff about luggage storage options, whether you’re checking in or out. We had pre-purchased a Disney bundle deal through the hotel, originally planning to visit Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. However, a major hiccup awaited us at the park entrance: we hadn’t made a park reservation, a MUST-DO for Disney visits. After a bit of panic and negotiation, we managed to upgrade our tickets to 2-day Park Hopper passes, allowing us entry after 11 AM to any park of our choosing. So please please please, do not forget to make reservations ahead! Make reservations here!

Magic Kingdom was our first stop, teeming with families and stroller parking lots. Our aim was to soak in the ambiance, snap photos, and collect souvenirs rather than wait in long lines for rides. A fortunate misstep landed us in the queue for the Little Mermaid attraction, our only ride in Magic Kingdom, before we moved on to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Studios captivated us with its immersive Star Wars Section, enchanting Toy Story Section, and a nostalgic peek into Disney history, earning it the top spot in our hearts.

In the evening, we ventured to EPCOT via the Skyliner, marveling at the blend of futuristic innovation and international cultures represented in the park. After indulging in German beer and waffles, we explored some Showcases before calling it a day, utterly exhausted but fulfilled.

Day 4: Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Our final day began with breakfast at a nearby IHOP before heading to Animal Kingdom, where the towering Tree of Life and the immersive world of Pandora awaited us. Despite the long wait times for Avatar-themed attractions, we managed to experience one after exploring the park’s various habitats and enjoying a show.

Exhausted but content, we retrieved our luggage from the hotel and headed to the airport for our flight back to Boston with Delta Airlines, grateful for the memories and the smooth journey home. Here is the view of NYC on the flight!

Reflecting on our whirlwind Disney World adventure, it’s clear that each park offers its unique magic, making for an unforgettable experience even without going on many rides.

The most crucial takeaway, however, is a reminder echoed from the first part of our journey: always remember to make park reservations when visiting Disney World!
