“I am really very bored by supposedly progressive friends writing to me about Wikileaks publications on the US election. The very definition of a free election is that publishers can and should report on any power faction or political party. Wikileaks doesn’t hack: they publish whatever they receive. If they had Trump leaks and sat on them, and did not publish them, it would be a scandal. Free speech is a principle that applies irrespective of any political view. It might not suit your politics (or mine) — but if you censor what doesn’t suit you, then you have no integrity.” JR
