The police and soldiers continue to patrol the city of Brussels today as investigation of the whereabouts of terror suspects linked with the attacks in Paris continues.

Schools, the subway and large shops will remain closed for the fourth day as the police has been unsuccessful in finding Salah Abdeslam, who is thought to be the master mind behind the Parisian attacks two weeks ago. “The operation is still ongoing, and will be pursued further,” the minister of interior Jan Jambon said yesterday.

The situation is making the people of Brussels anxious as they don’t know what is going to happen and for how long, but they’re making every effort to find ways to make the lockdown a bit more pleasant.

On the weekend, the Belgian police asked the public not to tweet about the operation and the people in Belgium — and all over the world — filled Twitter with cats and a young couple got married in a low key ceremony surrounded by soldiers.
