Knock Knock

(Who's there?)

A guy

(A guy who?)

A guy who was afraid all the time.
Scared of tomorrow, still worrying about today.

I couldn't see the light, no matter how hard I tried.

But I found out I wasn't looking right; wrong methods, wrong results.

You can never rely on what people can give.
Today, good; Tomorrow, not so good.

I learn to trust in Jesus.
I say "learn" cause it happens every day.

It's not wishy-washy.
I expect what He has said and done.

A Storm? He Calms the raging storms.
A Flood? He's the Lord of the Flood.

And an Ocean? *giggles*
He makes a way in the ocean.

Men can be measured by mountains
I choose to Trust in the one who is bigger than the mountains.

Would you rather systems that evolve— with their side effects— or the one who's constant; always?

That's all I wanted to say.

(So you go around knocking on doors and doing this?)

He that hath ears let him hear. "Matthew 11:15"

*walks away*

I hope all find this to be a blessing 🙏.

Keep focusing on what Jesus does and can do. That’s where Peace is🕊️
