Designing is like making coffee. Coffee is basically caffeine in water. Let’s say a new friend invites me and make coffee for me. Although he may not be the best barista in town, he will do his best to make me have a good time. Depending on the level of care of your friends, he will do better, and I will enjoy your coffee. The problem is not only the taste of the coffee itself but also the degree of care for the other. Of course, if you want to make better coffee, you need good coffee beans, hot water, good coffee cup, and excellent coffee skills. If you do not care for the person drinking coffee, the most important thing is missing. It is for this reason why homemade always beats restaurant.

Imagine we are designing a radio. The design will be complete when you create electronic and mechanical parts for the audio, and a case to hold them. In fact, anyone can do this design if one knows how to design. It is like making a cup of coffee. If you’ve studied more design or have more experience in developing electronic products, it may become a better radio. But I believe that by designing while imagining the pleasures of those who work, study, repair cars, or cook while listening to the audio I create, my design will become much more beautiful one. It is the coffee that my beloved makes for me.
There are so many products in the world that are not properly designed because they have not learned how to care for people through design, not knowing how to design.
