There was a desert island far away from civilization. Only silence and serenity surrounded a young man who, because of a trick of destiny, had become stuck there. He was a man with a strong face, tanned and unshaven; he had long, curly hair and a ragged loincloth. He sat tirelessly on the beach looking into the blue ocean. He looked at the expanse of blue, searching for something. Then, he looked sidelong at his meager meal, a banana and a half of a coconut. He swallowed and turned away, grabbed a pointed stick, and ran into the middle of the island. He walked between the green trees, still searching for something. He was on the hunt. Suddenly, the bushes rustled as a small creature slipped by. He bent down, crouching to trace where the animal ran. Small, little steps crept silently behind him. For a long time, he searched for the animal. The small creature stopped — the ideal time for the hunter. The man threw his spear; he missed. The animal disappeared into the thick forest. The man failed again to catch any sort of normal food. He returned to the shore, to his coconuts and bananas, and angrily threw his stick in the sand. Nervously, he walked side to side as he muttered something under his breath. His eyes were hungry and full of desperation. He stopped. A second thought overcame him, and he grabbed his makeshift trident and ran toward the ocean. He walked on the rocks in the water. The man looked into the blue ocean. Warm water washed his feet. The man waited. He looked into the water with an icy stare. Suddenly, a fish slipped next to him. He swung, stabbed the trident, but the fish was too quick and escaped . Failure again.
His anger was growing. He started to stick his trident into the water harder and harder. Now, not even bothering to look, he repeatedly plunged the stick into the water. He no longer expected fish; it was just to express his anger. He threw his trident, and then slumped down, exhausted, on the sand. Again, he looked out over the endless and hopeless ocean.
Suddenly, he noticed a red spot in the sea. There were others. The spot was becoming clearer and more visible. A human! A man in the sea. He threw himself into the water and swam vigorously to the red spot. Finally, he arrived. On the waves, the body of a young woman rocked while holding a red scarf around her neck. The man grabbed her and began floating to the shore. He was in a panic, not knowing what to do in such a situation and how to save her. She was so beautiful. Her soft skin, sexy lips, long hair, tiny body — she was sexual perfection. He eagerly wanted to save her, but he didn’t know how to do artificial respiration or CPR. He was trying to do everything at once. However, the beautiful woman didn’t respond to his attempts. Her body was breathless. He realized that he failed to save her.
He sat down next to her body, exhausted and hungry. He glanced at the woman. He then turned away and looked into the ocean. He looked again at the woman’s body. She was really beautiful and…tasty? He swallowed and turned away. An inner fight began in his mind. He was a respected banker, husband, and father of five children. He managed to do $5 billion in deals with major investment banks. Of course, because of the circumstances, he was stuck on this island, but he is human, for God’s sake! Civilized humans don’t eat other humans! He started breathing fast and loudly. Deep breaths. Deeper breaths. He looked again at the woman. She definitely would be tasty. He didn’t know how long he would be stuck in this god-forsaken place. What if he never managed to escape and had to survive somehow? He looked again at the blue and boundless ocean. He grabbed her hand, trying to find a pulse. He started to walk around the breathless body of the woman. So how should he eat her? Maybe barbecue was a good option, or just cooking her normally? God! But it’s wrong! It’s totally wrong to eat people! But what can he do? He just didn’t have a choice. He was thinking, “She is dead already. I was trying to save her. I’ve done my best! The main law of nature is to save yourself first. So I’m trying to survive. I have no choice.” However, he didn’t have even a cutting tools, only a sharp stone. He grabbed it. He held his breath for a moment. Pause. Abruptly, he plunged the stone into the woman’s body.
No blood appeared.
He was surprised; started quickly and nervously inspecting her. He stumbled on the inscription on the back of her neck: “Doll-robot for adults. Avoid water. Made in China.”
