As digital media rises, it is the responsibility of designers to create harmony between the digital and physical environments. While designers work with programmers and developers, they have the obligation to prevent any issues within either of these environments. Although technology is rapidly advancing, designers have the role to allow the use of digital media for the beneficialness of the physical environments.

In my tour app, I wanted the users to have an audio and visual experience. I purposely wanted the experience to have audio, so that the users can detach themselves from the screen, listen to the audio, and look at the buildings/spaces. In the photo capturing option, this allows the users to save their images that they have taken during their tour, which gives them a way to remember CMU when they go back home. Personalizing an experience is what makes users remember the most; therefore, managing the use of digital media in a physical environment is very important.
