Theme from Jesuit talk

The overarching idea from today’s talk was what makes Jesuit education stand-out. Joe went on to explain five themes that distinguish Jesuit education: Intellectual curiosity, Spiritual depth, religious, loving, forgiving, commitment to justice, and care of the whole person. Although all of these are important themes to carry into life beyond Marquette, a specific theme that will contribute to my media writing career is intellectual curiosity. I never want to limit myself when it comes to learning about different topics. I want to be the kind of writer that is constantly asking new and innovative questions and doing extensive research in order to make my writing unique. Moreover, I always want to be finding new resources to learn about topics I am passionate about and never make the excuse that there is nothing else to learn about a certain topic or situation.
