There’s an old saying, “Good artists copy, great artists steal.” — Pablo Picasso. The term copying and stealing is used differently but it’s kind of the same logic. In other words humans have been around so long that originality no longer exist. You don’t copy, you do it better, hence the term stealing. This is what design is about. For example, You didn’t come up with the idea of skyscrapers, you don’t build the same skyscraper over an over again, you build it better.
