The entrepreneur

Who I am ? A entrepreneur, a woman, a sister, a mother, a wife, an activator and a path maker : my name is Sophie and I am 36 years old. I am living the dream I had since kindergarten: being an entrepreneur. I was 5 years old, coming from a very poor family, and when the kindergarden teacher asked me to draw what I wanted for work when I grow up, I drew myself in the middle of a building. I told my teacher, her name was Henriette, that I would own this building….In my village, Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré, in 1984, most girls drew themselve as hairdressers, cashier and the most ambitious as teachers, so Henriette was a little bit shocked when she saw my drawing. I told her: « Why would I work for someone in a building as a cashier, an hairdresser or even a teacher when I can own buildings and find work for so much more people». I was 5 years old when I found out I was an entrepreneur !
