A mum on a mission to celebrate and share everything that makes this city a brilliant place to live and visit.

I’ve lived in Cambridge for nearly 4 years. Before that we lived in a tiny, but gorgeous flat in London. With the impending arrival of a baby, we moved to be geographically close (but not too close) to the grandparents-to-be and have a bit more leg room..

They always say that moving house is one of the most stressful experiences anyone can go through. They were right. It was hideous. But as soon as we stepped over the threshold of our Victorian Terrace in Romsey Town, with its carpets riddled with moths and no running water or heating, it somehow managed to feel OK and very ‘do-able’.

4 years on and with a 3yr old daughter, a 11yr old cat and a husband that has a 4 hour commute each day, we don’t regret a single thing. The house has changed, we have changed and our city seems to be changing all the time.

I’m going to be sharing with you the wonders this city has to offer, including family friendly events taking place around you as well as the great independent retailers and restaurants we have on our doorstep to explore.

I may not capture them all, so I’d love to hear your recommendations too..
