INNER CHILD

You were crouched down and i was hell bound,

Looking up; you did not frown,

But i know you did not see my crown.

You kept your distance,

I wanted your forgiveness,

So lord be my witness.

I asked you what you wanted,

You told me to stop being despondent,

For i knew i was abusing you,

And now i was losing me.

Stop abusing me you reminded,

One day it might go from black to grey,

You will never know unless you stay,

And stop letting yourself be led astray.
