Introduction to ProductCon Speakers: New York (Part 2)

Product School is hosting its annual product management conference in New York City this month. ProductCon is a multi-city conference that takes place four times a year — across San Francisco, New York, London and a completely virtual platform.

This year’s ProductCon 2023 New York conference is taking place on May 31 at 9 a.m. at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Conference tickets can be found on Eventbrite alongside complementary virtual viewing options.

There are currently nine main speakers set to present at the conference following the agenda. Introductions for the first four speakers can be found in Introduction to ProductCon Speakers: New York (Part 1).

Introducing the Keynote Speakers (Part 2):

Matt Gray

Matt Gray is the former VP of Match, where he led vision, strategy and execution for the namesake Match brand. Prior to working at Match, Gray worked as Product Leader at Facebook where he drove the strategy for experimentation and feature flagging across the family of apps.

Prior to his experience at Facebook, Gray worked as Director of Product at Zipcar where he rewrote the company’s core experiences, launched three new products, and owned company-level objectives and results (OKRs).

Gray currently offers product coaching sessions at Product Cooperative.

Penny Ann Szeto

Penny Ann Szeto is Head of Product for Prime Gaming at Amazon. Prior to working at Amazon, she was VP of Product Development at American Express where she spent six years working as a product leader.

Szeto recently spoke at the ProdutCon 2022 conference in New York on “Gamifying Your Product Career”.

Chino Wong

Chino Wong is the VP of Design at Medium in addition to the Head of Product Organization, where he oversees over five departments. Prior to working at Medium, Chino served as the Head of UX and Director of Product Design at Blaze.

Chino wrote about “Scaling Pre-IPO Design Teams” at Blaze. He led the design of a more agile and cost-effective form of remote user testing covered in article “How Braze Tested a Figma Prototype 3x Faster Using Maze”.

Lisa Kamm

Lisa Kamm is the SVP of Product of Core Platforms at the New York Times. Prior to The New York Times, Lisa held a variety of positions across Google.

Kamm previously spoke at GlueCon about “Product Managing Your Platforms and Infrastructure”. She previously spoke at ProductCon 2021 on “Platform Product Management: Changing What’s Possible”.

Carlos González De Villaumbrosia

Carlos González De Villaumbrosia is the Founder & CEO of Product School. He has over ten years of experience with team-building and digital products. The company has grown to offer corporate training programs to Fortune 500 companies.

Villaumbrosia published the Amazon bestseller The Product Book, is a host for the Proddy’s awards for best software products and produces the ProductCon conference for tens of thousands of product managers each year.
