There are tons of Facebook posts with your regular text and photo content. While these posts are certainly serviceable, they’ll hardly get you points for creativity. And unfortunately, if you want to keep your audience’s attention, you have to spice up your content regularly. If you don’t, they will get bored and their attention will go to some other Facebook Page.

Lacking some creativity lately? Then check out these post ideas for your Facebook Page!

1. Quotation

Quote someone that is relevant to your brand and who your audience cares about. It’s simple and quick to get a reaction. And if you want to make it look as good as it reads, we got you covered.

Give your audience something to talk about! Ask them what they like more and let them vote on it. It’ll spark the kind of arguments you want to have on your Facebook Page.

3. Other Social Media Channels

Just because your popular on Facebook doesn’t mean your other social media channels are just as successful. Be sure to let your fans know where you can be reached. A lot of them probably have a Twitter or an Instagram account, so be sure to let them know that you do too!

4. Contests

It might not be the most original idea, but it gets points for how engaging it can be! As long as you set up a proper contest with real prizes that your fans are interested in; a sloppy contest isn’t something anybody is interested in. Make sure that it appeals directly to your audience and that it fits within Facebook’s terms and conditions.

5. Link other people’s valuable content

Sharing your own content is great and helps to get that word out there. But your audience isn’t always interested in constant self-promotion. Share some things from other people and brands that your audience might be interested in. It shows that you’re aware of the market around you and aren’t afraid to support great ideas.

6. Infographics

They’re great. They’re flashy, informative, shareable, and fun for your audience. The only downside is that they can be quite time consuming. But they don’t have to be! There are lots of tools to make the job easier, like Visme or Canva. Just remember not to overload them with info; keep it short and simple.

7. Real-time marketing

This one requires some commitment, but it’s worth it. This refers to making posts and replying to events in real-time, as they are happening. So anytime there’s a big event (like the Super Bowl) or something has everybody talking (like a new Star Wars trailer), see if you can take advantage and relate it to your brand. Check out our post about real-time-marketing for more details.
