Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookie Chips + Mr. Sandman (Jazzy Fox Remix)
My friend in San Francisco recommended me these Crunchy Cookie Chips from HannaMax Baking. She told me that they were so good and addictive. So next day, I went to a nearby supermarket and got the Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookie Chips.
These cookies are very thin and as in the product name, they are crunchy! Each cookie is small enough to pop one in your mouth. You can definitely taste brown sugar and butter. I found them a little too sweet for my taste but people with sweet tooth like my friend and Cookie Monster will love these cookies!
These cookies are made with no artificial ingredients, no preservatives, no coloring, and no GMOs. They taste like homemade but the crunchiness gives a nice twist to them. I usually prefer soft chewy cookies over hard cookies but I would say these are a totally different type of cookies.
There are different flavors you can try. I actually bought the original flavor too. (I haven’t tried it yet.) HannaMax Baking also makes gluten-free cookie chips! Visit their website for more info.
Now, it’s time to pair these cookies with a piece of music. To me, chocolate chip cookies remind me of good ol’ America or good housewife imagery from 50’s. Definitely, these cookie chips have flavors of homemade cookies. I could simply pick a song from 50’s but that wouldn’t do justice for these innovative cookies. So I looked for a 50’s song that was sweet with female vocals. I found Mr. Sandman by The Chordettes! I thought this song had a perfect feminine sweetness. From there, I looked for remix versions that gave a nice modernness or hipness to the song. There were remixes that complicated the structure of the song too much or didn’t give a nice crunch to the song. Finally, I found a remix by Jazzy Fox! The beats added a contemporary crunchiness to the song while keeping the basic structure. I hope you enjoy this pairing. Also, let me know which piece of music you would pair with these Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookie Chips!
