I remember also being wowed initially by how easy it was to deploy a quick demo with Meteor.

If you’re looking elsewhere, have a look at Phoenix/Elixir. I dove in about 6 months ago and the water is great. If you need pointers to resources I’m happy to help. The stack is awesome and the community is top notch. ☺️
