Souni’s collaboration with Kroma brings Dust of Fate to a new frontier. With innovative approaches diverging from traditional GameFi, Souni-Dust of Fate offers innovative solutions to Kroma’s ecosystem. And the mirroring of $SON serves as the starting point for this partnership.

The mirroring of $SON on Kroma marks a significant expansion for Souni, transforming Souni — Dust of Fate into a multi-chain game and expanding the utility of $SON. This offers users new income opportunities while introducing fresh gaming experiences to the Kroma ecosystem. Users can also enjoy the unique benefits of the Kroma ecosystem.

Understanding the Mirroring Ratio and Process

$SON tokens will be mirrored from the BNB chain to the Kroma chain at a 1:1 ratio, and the amount of mirrored $SON must be no less than 10,000, with a maximum limit of 300,000. To enhance the user experience and mitigate the high gas fees associated with cross-chain transactions, Souni — Dust of Fate will convert 10,000 $SON into equivalent $ETH and then transfer it to the corresponding Kroma address.

Limitations and Unlocking Mechanisms

The maximum amount of $SON that each user can mirror is 298,500. Additionally, mirroring unlocks in stages, with 20% available at TGE (Token Generation Event) and an additional 10% unlocked for every 300 Odyssey Booster Packs sold on the Kroma network until fully unlocked.

Participation and Timeline

The mirroring window lasts for 7 days from the announced start time. After the deadline, no more deposits will be accepted, and future mirroring plans will be updated soon.

In conclusion, $SON mirroring on Kroma is a groundbreaking move that boosts Souni-Dust of Fate’s GameFi presence and enhances gaming experiences across multiple chains. With innovative features and user-centric design, Dust of Fate remains at the forefront of revolutionizing the Gamefi industry.

About Souni — Dust of Fate

Souni — Dust of Fate is the first practice of the new Gamifi ecosystem solution — “Isolating Game & Fi” instead of “Play to Earn”.

Souni — Dust of Fate innovatively segregates Game and Finance, appealing to both “Earners” and “Experience Seekers.” “Earners” embrace financial risks for direct income in “Fi,” while “Experience Seekers” obtain crucial game assets from “Fi” for competitive gameplay. This model allows direct engagement with market conditions, ensuring viability even in liquidity-short scenarios.

About Kroma

Kroma is the first universal stage 2 Layer 2 (L2) on Ethereum. Kroma has been developed based on Optimism Bedrock architecture, and aims to be a universal ZK rollup. Currently, Kroma operates as an Optimistic rollup with ZK fault proofs, utilizing a zkEVM based on Scroll. The goal of Kroma is to eventually transition to a ZK rollup once the generation of ZK proofs becomes more cost-efficient and faster.

Kroma offers lower transaction fees compared to the Ethereum mainnet, with native Ethereum security and EVM equivalence. Our roadmap to transition from Optimistic rollup to ZK rollup sets Kroma apart from other L2 networks. Additionally, Kroma is advancing towards decentralization. As an initial step for this, Kroma has introduced a permissionless validator and challenge system.
