How to write the best prompt to generate Email for marketing and sales.
Email marketing is probably one of the most effective way to generate sales in todays time, gone are the days of sending flyers for your marketing. I have witnessed this first hand after running a window cleaning business.
While running this business I learned that sending emails to existing customer for email campaign is crucial but very time taking, primarily when you want to make personalized email for your customers, this personalize email generation task becomes quite hectic when you have write each email for 1000 of yours customers.
I spent hours to create those emails just to send 100s of them in a day, but thanks to ChatGPT which I was able to use to at least generate the emails . But then there is one problem, in order to get the correct email you really need to bang your head to perfectly craft the prompt. So I took this class in from Coursera to learn how to craft the correct prompt.

For example one of the pattern called the persona pattern , with this pattern you can ask ChatGPT to act like some person , like say the world famous marketing genius or some famous person, for fun I created an example of if Kim Kardesian, I asked Claud3 Opus model (It is another AI tool like ChatGPT build by a company called Anthropic) to write a post about this google sheet add-on called gpt-mail-master. This tool can automatically generate email when you provide the target audience, tone,product and service. Below image is the response I got from the AI model. I thought its quite funny.
Okay so getting back to the prompt engineering. So using this persona pattern you can ask AI to act like a great marketing genius or sales genious.
Then the next step would be to provide context about your service/product , basically you will have to tell AI what kind of service/product you are offering. Keep this clear and concise , this will help generate the email tailored towards your target audience.
For my window cleaning business, I had to do this task repeatedly, but this AI-powered email creator google sheet-on is doing a pretty good job for me.
