Will meet you soon someday

The crumbled pages speak to me,
The ink that made it smile,
Long that distance travelled which,
In a lonely moonless aisle.

I seek you throughout all night,
Through places far and deep,
The silent whistles of winds so near,
Walk all beside to keep.

To keep the promise I had made,
The stars came down today,
With hope that lonely true but I,
Will meet you soon someday.
