Keyboards and Koans

Recently I was loitering in Guitar Center’s pro audio room, looking for the perfect string bed to fill out the single for my new mixtape (I go by Marsh Mellow on MySpace, hit me up). On the far wall, there were three pictures: Michael McDonald, A Fine Frenzy, and a Moog. I was struck with the realization that this was the most difficult Fuck, Marry, Kill I had ever encountered. Also the Kaoss Pad is definitely going to become a big part of my productions- I love that you don’t need to have “traditional” musical training, i.e. knowing what the black and white things are on the keyboard, in order to use it.
