Coal storage structure

Coal is one of the main sources of power for industry and to avoid the wastage and environmental pollution caused by outdoor stacking, a large number of coal storage structures have been built in China. In order to ensure the normal work of long-armed coal stacking and coal digging machinery in coal storage structures, coal storage structures usually reflect the characteristics of large span, large area and large space. The Henan Yakou dry coal shed, built in 2006, has a columnar mesh shell structure with dimensions of 108m x 150m. In recent years, the size and span of coal storage structures have been increasing, for example, the Guodian Ningxia Fangjiazhuang Power Plant, built in 2021, has a span of 229m.
